I also love painting. I remember that once, I participated in painting and drawing contests during my elementary and high school years. I even won over all during a poster making contest when I was second year high school. The contest was part of a campaign against drug abuse. The poster making contest was participated by other students from first year to fourth year. I remember the contest name and theme of my entry was “Drug is Death”. It’s been memorable because it was judged by two popular persons in the field of painting and arts. They are Nunelucio Alvarado and Toti Yap.
However, people who know me will agree that I am an inhibited type of person and I never pursued my talent in painting even if I was offered by the two judge to continue my studies and practice in drawing and painting. I was glad they even offered me to join other prestigious painting and drawing contests. They even talked to my grandparents to help push me into it.
