Gifted Child

Yesterday, one of the morning shows in a local TV station featured gifted children. These are the children with special knowledge, skills and abilities at a very young age or at the age where you would normally not expect them to possess these knowledge, skills and abilities. I am not sure if they have already undergone series of tests to determine and classify them as gifted but I was amazed by their talents and abilities.

If those children are already classified as gifted, I think I could consider my son Kyle gifted child, too. Since three, he could already identify all car brands, from Asians, American and even expensive European cars. At the age of three he can already turn on and shut down a computer and laptop and he can also navigate the files he wants to open and play around with.

That’s the reason why we are scouting for cheap laptops because sometimes I could not use my computer while he wants to surf the internet visiting his favorite site youtube.com and websites about cars. He can even manage to do something in her mom’s laptop using the Microsoft programs. I remember one time he managed to release our car’s hand break and let car move. Luckily I was able to grab the wheel and the press the break immediately.

On another angle, what made me call him “gifted child” because he usually receive gifts from the family.

  • Laptop – So I Can Work Anywhere

My son is now attending his preschool at Gymboree Play & Music Philippines every morning from Tuesday to Thursday. I have to drive him to his school which is about 10 minutes close to where we live. As soon as he gets inside his classroom, I would wait for him for two and a half hours each day.

So I decided to bring my laptop to my son’s school to have at least to do something profitable while I am just only sitting there and wait. I wanted to buy a new laptop so that I could at least write some articles or work on some tasks and check emails.

It’s really nice to have a job whose task you can carry with you anywhere and also provides flexible time. You can work anywhere you want without a boss.

  • Laptop - A Must Have for Travelers

Working at home through online job sometimes prevent me from traveling. This is because as a web publisher, I have to be online always to avoid missing tasks. The irony is that since my blogsite is about travel and photos, I have to go outside to find some beautiful places to feature, write and to take some photos.

I realized the importance of a laptop for my kind of job. It is my indispensable ally enabling me to  work wherever I may be. As long as I have a signal, I can do my task even if I am in the coffee shop or in my son’s school while waiting for him after class.
