When I was on the road experiencing heavy traffic, loud noisy car horns and smoke belching old cars or buses, I just can’t stop imagining that maybe we really need a break and ultimate get away. Just at break.

Last year we had a chance to go out of town for almost a week where we rent a home beach villa. That’s why we still talk about it until now, on why not another getaway. But I think that if I try to visit the island, I will be part of those 35,000 people who decide to permanently live in it.

My wife Denice always asks me when will be the next time she can have a break from her daily routine in the office and when will just have a full day of rest to enjoy with us. A getaway from a noisy city life, heavy work load from the office, hectic deadlines schedules and usual daily work of life. An island getaway is perhaps what our family needs.

I know it’s not only my wife who dreams of that getaway. Most of us do. So every time I get the time to surf the internet, I’m always searching for the perfect island getaway.
