Our recent visit to Baguio City gave us a chance to stay at the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary (PBTS). It is a vacation house offering room accommodations exclusive for Baptist pastors and their friends and families who will stay in Baguio.

If you need beautiful and yet comfortable place to stay in Baguio, PBTS is one of the places to be in. There are rooms for the family with fireplace and you can even cook. Just don’t expect too much features like stationeries, pens, expensive give always because all of the people who will be attending to your are volunteers, Bible scholars and a future pastors

  • We had our lunch at MMLDC last weekend. It’s been our favorite place in Antipolo every time we want to have a quiet and beautiful place to read and reflect on the Bible or just to hang out.

The ambience is relaxing. It is surrounded by nature but the place I think is originally intended for trainings, seminars and special occasions like weddings. But there’s a restaurant inside which also open for the public and mini aviary with different birds and ducks.

Actually the place was discovered by my wife when she and her officemates had their training held in that place two years ago. Then we decided to visit the place again and since then, we became regular diners.

We usually have our lunch at The  Areva Pavillion. It is an open-air restaurant over-looking swimming pool and surrounded by greenery. Their specialty includes pizza, pasta, salad and sandwiches but they added more on their menu the last time we visited. Price is reasonable and as usual I ordered my favorite chicken sisig and fried rice.

The MMLDC has jog trail, gym, basketball court, massages services and billiard hall, too.

There is an available free electric jeep if you wanted to go around the place and I made joke to my brother in-law that you can ride anytime in the electric jeep because anyway you are paying it. That’s where your system loss payment goes. I know Meralco owns this place.

I’m looking forward to spend an overnight stay in the place be able to feel the place just a little more.
