Every start of the year, we have to contend with noise pollution and dangers of fireworks. According to research, even animals experience some kind of trauma because of the noise that fireworks explosion brings.

What better way to escape from it all than spend the new year in a secluded beach resort. Our family spent the new year in a beach resort of Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club in Ternate Cavite. There, not a single sound of explosion in heard. Just lots of beach waves and lots of prayers for more blessings and a prosperous 2009!

Nothing compares to a life in the province. A week’s vacation away from the metro provides a break from a busy and noisy life. My family and I are blessed to have one during the Feast of Taberanacles. We stayed in one of the beach houses within Charissa’s Beach Resort in San Fabian, Pangasinan. This is our yearly religious celebration and it has since become our family vacation, too.

My son has also been attending this religious activity for almost four years now. I remember when he was still a baby and we had to prepare his baby bedding every time we’d go out of town. In order for him to sleep, it should be with him to keep his environment familiar as he was still sleeping in his own pillow and bed cover.

Every year we hold our yearly religious holiday around the months of September and October. Last year, we held our Feast of Tabernacles at the Charissa’s Beach Resort in San Fabian, Pangasinan province. It’s a one week affair so we have to use my wife’s Delsey luggage because we are bringing more clothes.

This is our yearly feast that most of us are waiting for. All family members in the faith are gathered in this supposedly temporary shelter or tent but since we still don’t have our own safe place to stay, we are just renting a resort for the place to celebrate this religious affair. We are always so excited for this affair and I can’t stop thinking where we will be in the next round.
