SM Mall of Asia is the largest shopping mall in the Philippines. It is owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, under the management of Henry Sy, a Chinese-Filipino business tycoon. He is the richest man in the Philippines today.The mall was constructed within the reclamation area in Roxas Boulevard in PasayCity. A 19.5-hectare reclaimed land, it has a gross floor area of 386,224 square meters.. A roundabout was constructed in the front of the mall with a huge bronze globe. Four buildings interconnected by walkways: the Main Mall, the Entertainment Mall, and the North and SouthCarparkBuildings. You can see in the Main mall the shopping and dining establishments and the food court. while Entertainment Mall facing ManilaBay majority open-air is a two-story complex.which has main attractions. Primary of these are the first in the Philippines IMAX theater along with a Director’s Club Theater for intimate screenings (30 La-Z-Boy seats), a Premiere Cinema, and the CenterStage Cinema which can used for live musical concerts and theatrical performances.The mall features the Philippines’s first Olympic-sized ice skating rink. At 61 by 30 meters, the rink is described as the biggest of its kind in Southeast Asia. Fifth, they don’t have the list of those gambling lords in the country which can released more than $20M for the campaign fund during election and have the budget of $4 million a month for the gambling protection paid down to the lowest rank policeman of PO1 to Chief Superintendent and from Barangay Councilor to the City Mayor to Governors and Congressman to Cabinet Secretaries and Government Advisors. Lastly they don’t have the list of those people involves in the multi billions projects funded by Chinese Government like ZTE controversy. Rich Filipinos are actually the poorest, when compared to our neighboring Asian countries like in Indonesia, Malayasia, Singapore and Thailand. We had the smallest total net worth, $16 billion.
