Life Takes Its Course

Puerto AzulLast week, my son asked me to give his old toy he used to love a lot to Jollibee (Jollibee is soliciting old toys for its “Ma-AGA ang Pasko” campaign). I also noticed that he’s been seeking less and less of his milk bottle and instead, has been drinking milk from a glass. In addition, he’s been reading a lot. Slowly but more frequently.

My son is growing up. That’s when I knew life is taking its course naturally.

Map of Cavite

CaylabneLast week, we visited two beautiful resorts in Ternate, Cavite hoping that we could buy some map of Cavite in some gasoline station we were able to pass by. Sadly we could not find some. We dropped by Island Cove Resort hoping to secure one but there is no available map there, too.

We decided to go with out the map. As I always think and say, why shouldn’ty I be able to find the place when even the Japanese know their way here in the Philippines. But then again, it is really hard to travel without a map. It could be a waste of time stopping by and asking people around. If only we have Garmin GPS here in the country, then it would not be too hard for us anymore.

Still, without a map, we decided to have an adventure. After passing some not-so-cozy pockets of beaches, we finally reached the quiet and beautiful hidden paradise in Luzon out of the Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club and Caylabne Bay Resort.

My sweet indulgence happened last week when I had chocolate brownie sundae for dessert at the Texas Roadhouse Grill. It is made of the restaurant’s own freshly baked brownie topped with creamy vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, cherry and walnuts. It’s been a long time since I tasted a really delicious ice cream and I finished all of it.

I feel like coming back for another round one of these days.

  • Busy Week

Puerto Azul pollI had a very busy week.

Last Saturday after Sabbath, we visited our sister in faith in her house in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Then last Sunday, my wife and I along with my son searched for the best place for baptism or immersion. We decided to visit some beach resorts in Tarnate and Naic Cavite. There we were able to see a handful of resorts but only two of them captured us. These are Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club and the beautiful Caylabne Bay Resort.

Last Tuesday, I met my friends who are a couple: Stewart and Rexyl. They were back in town from London and we were able to tour them here in Makati. They had to stay overnight before their flight to our province in Negros.

The following day on Wednesday, my son and I Kyle went to see Daranak and Batlag falls in Tanay Rizal.

I just had my break yesterday when I brought the car in Wipeout Autocraft for auto detailing service and the car stayed there overnight.

Almighty Yahweh willing, it will be another busy week next week. So hopefully I can share something out of it once again along with more beautiful photos taken from every place we will visit.

    Travel Partner

I can’t imagine how my wife loves her laptop. She always bring it wherever we go, aside from the fact that she already carries it in her office everyday and even to her out-of-the-country presentations. She is always seen carrying it in our travel, family day and even in our church. I sometimes get irritated in the way she values it. Our son Kyle cannot use it with out her supervision. She sometimes gets mad if I do play around with it.

She invested a lot on her laptop bags. She added some extra protection aside from her bag being already durable and stylish. She doesn’t use the free laptop bag since it is black and not elegantly looking. It is also not comfortable for her to carry. She would always carry her laptop bag wherever she goes. I think she has found her new travel partner.

It’s been two weeks since we first searched for a possible baptism site. Our only choice at the moment is along Rizal province since my sister in-law live close by. Although swimming poll could do as our baptism site, we prefer running water like river, seas or falls.

The first site that came to my mind was Hinulugang Taktak National Park in Antipolo Rizal. It is one of the most popular tourist spots in Antipolo before and even until now. I heard it was not as beautiful as before since the place was open for public and available now for picnics. As we know, if the place is not properly taken cared of, it lessens in beauty and value.

Another two falls that we could possibly consider are Daranak and Batlag falls in Tanay Rizal although I just heard of the place. It would be nice to see for myself, too. I wanted to take an ocular visit first to this falls. Hopefully, I could have pictures for you on my next post.
