I didn’t know Mandarin extended to Gateway Mall until my family and I had lunch on few occasions in its Oasis café at the second level. I like the ambience here because it’s like you’re away from Manila and you seem literally under the sky. Such an outdoor feeling while staying foot in the city.
What’s more surprising is to know that on the fourth level exists the Mandarin Suites. I only got to know about this when I received my company’s invitation for me to attend the Management Conference and it said it’s going to be held here.
Mandarin Oriental Manila Hotel in Makati will always be special to me in the first place. Most of the significant events for me when I was still starting in my career were held over lunch or dinner in this hotel. Perhaps this impression extended to Mandarin Suites that I got easily comfortable to the place the moment I set foot on it. It’s very “Mandarin’.
