Hi,
My father also used to worked for ILCO- that was great then.. I also went to school at the Faraon Institute. I am also wondering on what part or villacin- because there are villacin 1-2-3 when I was there- I happened to live in villacin 1. The ILCO was owened by americans and we used to call him Mr.Baker and my favorite doctor was DR. Burgos and he was american also. I would like to go back there someday- but somehow they said Fabrica is a ghost town now. As I remembered when I was little every Christmas day the ILCO provides the kids with a lot of toys and gifts. Fabrica was almost like a little city to me. Then there was or there is Jean's Institure to study skin care, hair care- and tayloring also.

hi,

my husband hails from fabrica n yes he witnessed the glory of that town during those days. i havent been there but i am very much eager to go there probably next year to discover the roots of my dear husband. his late father worked with ILCO up to the end of their reign there. unfortunately, part of their house then got burned and so were their photos. i was just wondering if ure family still have pics of fabrica during those days. i only see pics of the trains whenever i search fabrica on line. i am always mesmerized by his childhood stories there. i know that i wont see the same thing again when i get there but i hope to see a glimpse of their past there. thanks n hoping for your reply.
