It is sad to hear that some companies are cost cutting on some of the privileges of an employee. Let’s take Medical Representatives for example. It used to be that if one is assigned in a province and almost every month  there would be meetings, then one would have to travel back to Metro Manila for just to be present. Aside from miles accumulated from the airlines, they used to have free hotel accommodations and allowances, too. But now I heard that some companies are just doing this with the help of video teleconferencing. People in the field would have no need to travel back to their base offices just to attend a meeting or do their reporting anymore.

What would you feel if you pay for an ordinary meal but the amount reached your credit limit? What if you had your gasoline tank full and yet after checking you credit card bill it already consumed your credit limit. As we all know, there is now hi tech pickpocketing. There’s a scumbag out there after paying and using your credit card in either restaurants, gasoline stations and others where they have a small gadget where they swipe your credit card and then your data is already copied which they can use for there bogus credit card. The latest is that even though your credit card was inside your pocket or bags. They have this gadget that they will just put it near the possible place of your credit card and they can already copy it.

Sometimes I am dreaming of something like gadgets or cell phone. If I like something but I know I can’t buy it for now, I delay my gratification. I find my self satisfied for a while by just having a look at it in the stores or sometimes reading about and looking about that product online. To those who want to give me something especially my friends and relatives out there who had plan of giving me a gift, note that I am currently reading iPhone 4, iPad, Canon 550d and htc desire reviews online. You know what I wish for.

Some people are worried about what will happen to the economy in 2009 with the prevailing economic crisis that every country is experiencing since 2008. They are afraid to invest in business because they do not want to give up money just easily. As we all know, business is also a gamble because in a sense, you are not sure if you will win or lose with the investment you are making. That is why it is important to be really sure about what business you will get into before taking the big plunge.

Ignite business in 2009! This must be the encouraging mantra of today’s would-be businessmen and entrepreneurs. Last week, my son asked me to give his old toy he used to love a lot to Jollibee (Jollibee is soliciting old toys for its “Ma-AGA ang Pasko” campaign). I also noticed that he’s been seeking less and less of his milk bottle and instead, has been drinking milk from a glass. In addition, he’s been reading a lot. Slowly but more frequently.

My son is growing up. That’s when I knew life is taking its course naturally.

Last week, we visited two beautiful resorts in Ternate, Cavite hoping that we could buy some map of Cavite in some gasoline station we were able to pass by. Sadly we could not find some. We dropped by Island Cove Resort hoping to secure one but there is no available map there, too.

We decided to go with out the map. As I always think and say, why shouldn’ty I be able to find the place when even the Japanese know their way here in the Philippines. But then again, it is really hard to travel without a map. It could be a waste of time stopping by and asking people around. If only we have Garmin GPS here in the country, then it would not be too hard for us anymore.

Still, without a map, we decided to have an adventure. After passing some not-so-cozy pockets of beaches, we finally reached the quiet and beautiful hidden paradise in Luzon out of the Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club and Caylabne Bay Resort.

I had a very busy week.

Last Saturday after Sabbath, we visited our sister in faith in her house in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Then last Sunday, my wife and I along with my son searched for the best place for baptism or immersion. We decided to visit some beach resorts in Tarnate and Naic Cavite. There we were able to see a handful of resorts but only two of them captured us. These are Puerto Azul Golf and Country Club and the beautiful Caylabne Bay Resort.

Last Tuesday, I met my friends who are a couple: Stewart and Rexyl. They were back in town from London and we were able to tour them here in Makati. They had to stay overnight before their flight to our province in Negros.

The following day on Wednesday, my son and I Kyle went to see Daranak and Batlag falls in Tanay Rizal.

I just had my break yesterday when I brought the car in Wipeout Autocraft for auto detailing service and the car stayed there overnight.

Almighty Yahweh willing, it will be another busy week next week. So hopefully I can share something out of it once again along with more beautiful photos taken from every place we will visit.
