I was searching for some old pictures of Makati Business area where Ayala and Makati Avenue where located to have a post entry on my blog about what it looks like before that what is Makati Business District today. But it happen I saw this bunch of old pictures taken in a year 1945 where an American tank rumbles down Rizal Avenue towards Azcarraga. It was posted by TheCameraReturns titled : Nostalgic Fool in one of the forums. I tried to find out the identity of the postie to give him due credit, but since I am not yet a member of that forum site, I don’t have the permissions to view members profile. According to his post “The wartime objective may have been Old Bilibid Prison, where American Prisoners-of-War were being kept. Thankfully, the second house from the left still stands.”
That location turned out to be the intersection of Rizal Avenue and Mayhaligue. Its was C.M.Recto present day, another picture taken just 3 blocks away from Azcarraga. The wartime objective may have been Old Bilibid Prison, where American Prisoners-of-War were being kept. And you know what, in another picture the second house from the left still stands. For more than 60 years, I don’t know when the new pictures were taken.
But this is how camera and photo creations are so important. They can keep the memory of the past, so that it could be use in the future.

France’s first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Nude Photo will be auctioned off at a sale next month in Rockefeller Plaza New York City, according to the website for Christie’s auction house. The Third Mrs. Nicolas Sarkozy is described as “one of the most beautiful women in the world”. It’s a work of art.
It was taken by photographer Michel Comte in 1993, when Bruni-Sarkozy was one of the world’s most sought-after models. In the black-and-white photo, she strikes a pigeon-toed pose, her hands covering her crotch, and expected fetch $3,000-$4,000 at the auction.
Nikolas Sarkozy (President of France) divorced his second wife in October and married the Bruni an Italian-born former model - now a successful singer - in February, after a quick courtship.
Michel Comte 53, claims he has photos that are even more explicit, said he took hundreds of pictures of the stunning Italian model over ten years of working together. And he revealed: “I have many more nude pictures of Carla much more explicit than that one. “But she need not worry as I would never put them on sale.”

I discovered one form of art. Actually the name was taken from a commercial trademark but it is related to photography. Forgive me on this but I am not sure whether my definition of this is correct. I was just writing this post as a person who loves photography. I just want also to explore this world which is related to photography and it is called Lomography.
It is actually the commercial trademark of Lomographische AG from Austria for products related to photography. I have seen this episode on TV and was fascinated by those photograph results from this kind of camera. Since I enjoy discovering photography, I hope to be able to give it to you someday.
According to Wikipedia, lomography emphasizes casual snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, “happy accidents,” and alternative film processing are often considered part of the “lomographic technique.” Users are encouraged to take a lighthearted approach to their photography and use these techniques to document everyday life, as the Lomo LC-A’s small size, simple controls, and ability to shoot in low light encourages candid photography and photo reportage
Here are some sites for those who also heard it for the first time. In these sites, you will be able to visualize what are those photos that are related or called or result of lomography.

It was hard for me to sleep the other night and it‘s even harder for me to write on this for my blog. My mind keeps taunting me out of those two cameras I happened to bump on from my surf over the net.
One is really my dream camera since my two cameras have been failing me now. I’m choosing between a Canon 400d and a Nikon d40. I‘m not comparing these cameras because I know these two DSLR cameras are of different specifications. Nor I am comparing between those who love Nikkon camera as how I felt the other day. Some people think that Canon 400d is more advanced than the Nikkon d40 in all aspects. I don’t know the picture quality of both because I have never tried either one of them previously.
Nikon d40 is very much lower in terms of price than Canon. For someone who don’t have much resources and want to have DSLR camera for a start, Nikon d40 can be the way to go. However, I really love Canon as a brand. Ever since, my two previous cameras are made by Canon. But what can I do since I don’t have such resources right now. All I have is faith that one of these days, Father Yahweh will give me the things that I need in His perfect time, with reason.
