We used to jog every other day but due to our busy schedules last December and at the onset of the rainy season around that time, we had to forego this activity.

This may cause my recent weight gain during a month’s rest from my regular jogging. I gained almost 7 kilograms that’s why I am thinking of possible quick weight loss means. Hopefully after my son’s school examination we could go back to our regular routine.

My sister said that in this day and age, no one has an excuse for not looking good with all the available beauty treatments, cosmetic surgeons and the flourishing array of beauty and slimming treatments.

If one intends to lose weight, for example, slimming pills and food supplements promising people to lose fat are just a drugstore away. I’m currently reading alli reviews because I’ve been hearing that this Orlistat or fat blocker is now being made available even without a prescription.

Seven years ago when I left my home town so upon going back there, I was looking for significant development by now. But a lot of sceneries, structures and way of life remain hardly changed. Some old folks running old stores are still not using barcode scanners but that was still why I keep on coming back here. Not to see all new things but to see all the things the way it was before.

I love to see places where I usually hang out before, just to see if it it’s still existing. Like what I did lately. I visited my old boarding house way back in college, the restaurant we used to dine in before. I love to bring back times and savor the best memories I left behind.

When I was still a little boy, I remember that my grandfather used to go to Indonesia for business. Every time he was about to leave, I really couldn’t stop crying because I really wanted to be with him. So he would just let my grandmother entertain me first before he’d leave. I remember he gave me one of his Samsonite luggage collection and told me that I should put my things there because he’d bring me to Indonesia. So every time I would ask my parents where my grandfather was, they would just tell me that he was just in the market and for me not to worry because all my things were already packed on my luggage and that my grandfather would bring me to Indonesia.

The same thing they would tell me every time I would ask about my grandfather until such time I would already forget all about his leaving.

A day after a worst day of typhoon Ondoy, we tried to bring some food and other basic necessities to my sister in-law who lives in one of the most affected areas in Cainta. Although we did not know if would find a way to get there because we heard that some roads were not passable because it was still submerged in water.

We tried all the possible routes because we knew that my two-year old niece was already running out of milk. In finding ways just to get there, we had a chance to pass by Marikina, the most affected place by typhoon Ondoy.

It is really sad to see people on the road walking and those vehicles scattered along the sides and even between the roads. That seems to show pictures that I would only get to see in war movies. It is really sad to see people riding in some rescue trucks as you see their sad and hopeless s faces.

But I am happy that in times like this, you can hear stories of heroism and extending helping hands. People uniting and joining together to extend a little help to those affected by the typhoon. Hopefully those who were not really affected cam continue to extend their help to those in deep need of help. For example, why not use the extra money instead of buying beauty products or weight loss pill at least momentarily?

It is really fun to have other members of the family, not just the relatives but what I mean is a pet in the house. I really love animals. Maybe I have passed on this trait to my son. He really loves animals too. Every time we’re in a mall and able to pass by a pet store, you really can’t stop him from dropping by. He loves fish as a matter of fact I bought him couple of ornamental fishes and only in a few days we noticed that it bore small fishes, too.

He also loves birds. Maybe we could buy him birds and if we already have a big space in the house, we could give him a dog, too. Although pets sometimes can change our travel habits, I know for sure we could find a better chance like there are available dog ramps if you have big dog, portable aerator for the fish and a lot more pet accessories nowadays for you and to your pet’s convenience.

Monday early morning was supposedly our flight to Belgium via Dubai. We were so excited that as early as possible, we were already in the airport because we had lots of baggage. We deposited all our lauggages and filled up all the neccessary documents from the immigration and just waited for the boarding time when suddenly, the flight crew announced that out scheduled flight was cancelled due to some technical problem. On my next post I will tackle all the bad experiences we had with out flight carrier. For a moment instead of sleeping on the plane on our flight to Belgium, my wife and I found ourselves wanting to play piano in Heritage Hotel in the Philippines.
