I work as a Medical Representative before in one of the multinational pharmaceutical companies. I remember that it was our last day of training before we will be dispatched to different parts of the country,

 I was so excited then because I will be able to see the whole of Mindanao. It was my area of assignment back then and since that was my first time to see the southern part of the Philippines except for Davao (which I know there is a lot of beautiful places that I may able to visit). At the same time I felt sad because I had to live away from my wife for almost 2 to 3 months.

That very last day of training, my co-trainee and I decided to drop by in a store to buy some goods because the next day we will be flying to our assigned area. I was able to visit one of the stores and was amazed by womens gold watches displayed there.

 When I got home my wife was so surprised because of my simple gift to her was her favorite gold watch.

What is love? It is probably the most meaningful word in the dictionary.Everyone of us have our own definition of love. But you do you know that the real meaning of love? Where does love come from?

To me, the shortest and most profound statement on love is found in the Bible. Just three words: “Yahweh is love” (1 John 4:8). True love comes from Yahweh. He is the source of love. And if it came from Yahweh, no one can take it away. It gives much  comfort to know that love is Yahweh.

Valentines is not love. Yahweh is love.

If you love somebody, it will be a true if you describe love as “ patient, kind, does not envy, does not boast, not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily  angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes and always perseveres” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Then comes the profound statement, “Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:8).

May love always be in our hearts everyday wherever we go and whatever we do. May true and complete happiness be with you and the people you love.
