Roasted Chicken - Litsong Manok

It was our family’s habit not to cook every Friday but just to cook rice and to buy roasted chicken (Litsong Manok) before sundown. Thus maybe I will be needing diet pills that work every Friday. We already tried almost all of the kiosks selling roasted chicken like the Andoks, Baliwag, Senior San Pedro and other small stands selling it along our area. From those who are known, Mang Bok’s is the only that we never tried yet. How I wish that one of these Fridays we could find Mang Bok’s branch so that we can tried it.

  • Food and Restaurants in Pangasinan

We will be visiting Pangasinan again. That’s why are very excited about the local restaurants and carinderias who serve local cuisine and the exotic foods of the province. As we all know people of Pangsinan are great cooks, too. Personally there are lots of foods I like in Pangasinan especially the goat meat dishes, kaldereta, “kilawin” and igado. The only thing I cannot eat are their local version of papaitan. I really can’t handle the smell. I really be needing weight loss pills that work after this travel.

    Lucky Baby

It is really irritating and nerve wreaking to hear news about newly born babies being left by mothers elsewhere. A recent report told of  a new born baby left in the comfort room of an airline. Luckily, the baby was still alive when it was discovered by the airline personnel. For the last days, we also heard of a fetus left in the church. Mothers of this kind prefer to have it in the church as maybe they believe that they will be forgiven.

There are a lot of couples out there who really dream of and work so hard to have a child and yet they are not just lucky to have it. On the other hand, some would just throw away a baby. How blessed really are those who are given a chance to be a parents. If you are not ready to be a mother yet and don’t have money to take good care of your pregnancy like to pay for rainbow light prenatal system, buy pregnancy vitamins or just not ready financially and psychologically to be a mother, then why did you not think of it during the time that you were doing the baby-making act?

  • Aling Idang’s Restaurant

When you happen to drive in Katipunan along White Plains Subdivision and want to eat something Filipino whether for breakfast or lunch, try to drop by Aling Idang’s restaurant in that place. Aside from their winning tapsilog, pancit, and kare kare, the prices are also affordable. The place is not so big and I think it can accommodate only 20 people but it is air conditioned and clean. The food is really great. It is like you are having Branson vacation if you tried it. Silog meals are for only 58 pesos. Pancit is at 60 pesos. Portions are already enough to have a great meal.

    Leisure Cost Resort Pangasinan

We will be visiting Leisure Coast Resort again in Pangasinan. We were here previously in one of our vacation moments. I remember when we just accidentally discovered the place last year we were attending a religious feast when typhoon Peping was hitting Pangasinan. Some of the municipalities in Pangasinan are already flooding. In fear that the place we were staying will also be in flood because it is near the seashore and surrounded by a river, we had to move away and transfer hotel and that’s when we found the Leisure Coast.

We were excited to see the place again because last year we don’t have the leisure of time to really see the place because we only stayed there for a couple of days. Hopefully new attractions can now be seen so that we will be able to feel as if we are having Disney vacations with its water park and nice rooms to stay.

  • Feast Preparation

A week from now, we are looking to vacation. Although we have spent two weeks planning, preparation is still needed so that everything will go smoothly. Planning and preparing is important to do. Asides from substantial number of clothes, my ugg boots, camera and personal things. I am also responsible for my son’s things and some kitchen and cooking wares to bring. Because I don’t want the same thing as last year from happening when I missed to bring our portable gas stove and we had to buy another one to use. I don’t want to miss some important things to bring again.

  • Feast of Tents

Every year we are attending the Feast of Tabernacle or the feast of tents. For the past seven years this religious event is held in Pangasinan. Previously we were living in a tent that was built by some of our brethren but for the past three years, we are holding it in one of the resorts in San Fabian and just renting a resort room. I sometimes miss the feeling of really staying in the wilderness. But hopefully we will find a place for the assembly where we could celebrate this feast in our tent or temporary dwelling. I once planned before to have a trailer house that we could use during the feast.

I will just have to apply for 5th wheel warranty so that I have it protected to during travel.
