Health Buzz - Erectile Dysfunction

March 31, 2008 By: admin Category: Uncategorized 1 Comment →

For many men and their partners, erectile dysfunctions are embarrassing and uncomfortable to discuss. Many of us don’t know that this problem affects the lives of many middle-aged men and their partners. This is because erectile dysfunction usually refers to the inability to obtain an adequate erection for satisfactory sexual activity or formerly called by some old folks as impotence. Usually it is more common to men aging 65 and above.

As a nurse by profession, I know that even men at the age of forty years old may at  some point suffer from erectile dysfunction. Half of us when we reach the age of forty will sometimes experience it and it is just a normal part of the aging process. If you have this problem, get the treatment you need one very effective medication to, it is Generic Tadalafil from which 85% of men who tried it start enjoying their marriage life again.

Pasig River Ferry - Planed to Ride

March 31, 2008 By: admin Category: Tourism, Travel No Comments →

As most Filipinos living in Metro Manila who usually pass the long Edsa Avenue and able to pass Guadalupe bridge know, Ilog Pasig is a dirty river with un-explainable smell, floating with garbage. But not anymore, or maybe  you could see some but it’s not like before.

We even planed to have a ride or tour a ferry ride along Ilog Pasig since one of the Guadalupe ferry terminals is very near to where we live in is located at the right side of the “Guadalupe Circle” or the Guadalupe Park if you’re coming from the MRT Guadalupe station.

The have available ferry boat, the air-conditioned twin-hulled catamaran, about 24 meters long and 7 meters wide and accommodates 150 passengers.

Taking a tour on the filthy Pasig River is probably one of the last things many of us want to do. Still, we want to try it, according to those who tried it already the view of the city from Pasig is enticing as they have come to discover.

The Pasig River ferry service operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It currently has three ferries and four stations located in Escolta, Sta. Ana, Guadalupe, Hulo (Mandaluyong) and Lambingan.

Maybe in my next post I can describe to you more or tell you what will I experience in that ride.

Career success for me is being able to work something that you really love and if there’s such a thing for me, it would really be writing. I love speaking my mind in scribbles. I love expressing my thoughts, making an opinion, doing reviews about interesting websites, articles, products and many more. That’s why blogging comes as a second nature to me already. Whenever I do blog reviewsand other sorts of doing blogs, I enjoy doing them at home.

What is making this task more fulfilling for me is that there are actually companies and advertisers out there who are paying you to do this. One example is PayPerPost.

What I love about PayPerPost is that it enables me to do what I love at the comfort of my home and at the same time, get paid for it. I also love the fact that PayPerPost is able to compensate people like me for what we write. It also provides opportunities to interact with other bloggers with whom I could share views, ideas, learnings and tips on blogging and getting more hits by participating in its forums, community events, and the like.

Puerto Gallera - How to get there?

March 26, 2008 By: admin Category: Resort, Tourism, Travel No Comments →

Two years ago, my brother-in-law invited us to go swimming in Puerto Galera. That was my first time to visit the island.

Its really fun remembering the chicken “inasal” and beef barbeque I cooked. The aroma attracted some foreigners and one of them dared to approach us because he really wanted to try how delicious was the smell from the smoke coming from where I cook.

To those of you who has not been to Puerto Galera yet, it is a Y-shaped island located in the northern shores of Mindoro Island some 130 km south of Manila and 14 nautical miles from Batangas City. It is bounded on the north by Verde Island Passage, on the south by the Municipality of San Teodoro (Oriental Mindoro), and on the west by the Municipality of Abra de Ilog (Occidental Mindoro). It has total area of 254.47 sqm., divided into twelve coastal barangays and one mountain barangay. Administratively, it belongs to the province of Oriental Mindoro.

coast is 42 km. long, consisting of irregular shorelines rimmed with dazzling white beaches, coconut plantations, and delightful scenery. At the eastern side of the coast, crescents of white beaches are interspersed with limestone cliffs and escarpments that are penetrated by inland bays and coves. These numerous coves and water channels support a rich marine life, forming “non-reef coral communities”. Whereas, its tube-like harbor with two natural entrances provide home to dozens of ships seeking safe anchorage.

Unfortunately, the only way to reach Puerto Galera is still via land-sea from Manila to Batangas to either Puerto Galera or Calapan City. The land-trip takes about 2 to 3 hours while the sea-trip from 1.5 to 2 hours.

At the Batangas City pier, there is a wide selection of ferries going to Puerto Galera, depending on which port guests intend to enter. There are three main entry points to Puerto Galera by way of its port facilities: Muelle Pier, Balatero Pier, and Sabang Beach.

Wish we could visit this island again and hopefully the Depatment of Tourism can do some development on the island as well as its government agency that manages the Batangas City port so that it will attract more tourists to keep coming back.

Subic- Boardwalk Inn

There’s an “almost secret” place within the freeport zone in Subic and it’s called Boardwalk Inn. It’s an accommodation that hardly makes noise in the media nor in the online world and yet those who have tried to stay here once will very likely come back if not extend his or her stay.

The rates are surprisingly reasonable for the type of room accommodation it offers. If you’re someone like me who can forego facilities like swimming pool, gym, lobby, etc. and would rather put high emphasis on the facilities inside the room, this might be the place especially if the main purpose is simply, rest, sleep and recover.

I feel like asking for a fee from the Boardwalk inn management for promoting it but what I’m saying is an honest opinion.
